Michelle & Paul / Roys Peak Surprise Proposal

One of the most fun (and possibly the most nerve wracking) photo shoots I offer are surprise proposals. Paul contacted me shortly after booking a ‘scenic flight’ with Wanaka Helicopters, hatching a plan to propose on Roys Peak in Wanaka. We set up on the hero spot, quietly collecting frames along the way, before capturing the moment in an epic landscape. With champagne and a platter tucked away in the back of the helicopter, the newly engaged couple could soak it all in.
